Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. As a key member of our Cardiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our EP lab.

Responsibilities
  • Admit and assess patients, providing individualized care and support throughout their stay.
  • Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document all interactions.
  • Circulate and scrub during diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Manage patient records, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in the EP lab.
Requirements
  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • 1 year of Critical Care and/or Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology (IR), or Electrophysiology (EP) experience
  • 2 years of Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience - preferred
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License. If Compact License, Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy
