About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. As a member of our Cardiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Admit and assess patients, providing medication administration and direct and indirect patient care.
  • Circulate and scrub diagnostic and interventional cases and procedures, monitoring patient status pre, during, and post-procedure.
  • Administer medications, including monitoring and documenting response, and communicate patient changes to physicians.
  • Manage patients with suspected or documented history of cardiac disease undergoing diagnostic or interventional procedures.
  • Complete and document patient assessments, and reassess patient condition as needed.

Requirements

  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • 1 year of Critical Care and/or Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology (IR), or Electrophysiology (EP) experience.
  • 2 years of Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience preferred.
