Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for surgery by administering medications, conducting pre-operative assessments, and ensuring proper positioning
  • Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation
  • Provide post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and monitoring for complications
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including medication administration, vital signs, and surgical procedures
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
  • 2+ years of experience in Operating Room nursing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
