Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled mortgage loan expert to become a part of our team at Merchants Realty & Loan Corp. In this flexible role, you will assess and manage loan applications specifically for our VA clientele. Your duties will encompass interviewing applicants to collect financial details, assessing creditworthiness, and explaining loan conditions. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication abilities, excellent customer service skills, and a comprehensive knowledge of the VA loan process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engaging with new VA applicants via live calls
  • Leveraging Salesforce to Track New Business Opportunities
  • Conducting interviews to gather financial data
  • Assessing applicants' creditworthiness
  • Managing loan application processes
  • Submitting files for underwriting
  • Addressing Approval Conditions
  • Preparing transactions for the closing department
  • Guiding clients in comprehending their contract terms
  • Providing potential customers with rate quotes
  • Maintaining detailed records for all accounts
Required Qualifications
  • Military Background
  • Preferred experience as a Loan Processor
  • Familiarity with common mortgage LOS such as Calyx, Encompass, LendingQB, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills for email communication and excellent writing abilities
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of VA loan processes including WebLGY, Lender Handbook, AUS, etc.

This position is remote.
