Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team at CrossCountry Mortgage. As a Mortgage Loan Processor, you will be responsible for processing mortgage loans from application to closing, ensuring timely and accurate completion of loan documents, and maintaining excellent communication with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sense of Urgency: Demonstrate proactive behavior in loan processing, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines to ensure timely loan closings.
  • High-Level Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with clients, loan officers, realtors, escrow/title companies, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth loan processing.
  • Team Player and Coachable Individual: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental and company goals, and be open to feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Organized and Task-Oriented: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient loan processing.
  • 3+ Years Mortgage Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of mortgage products, processes, and regulations, and apply this knowledge to ensure accurate loan processing.
  • Speaks with Clients Building Rapport: Develop strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and concerns, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Collects and Reviews Conditions on a Loan: Gather and review loan conditions, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and communicating with clients and stakeholders as needed.
  • Work Loan through All Milestones until Closed: Process loans through all stages, from application to closing, ensuring timely and accurate completion of loan documents.
  • Manages Accurate Data within CRM: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within our CRM system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Works with Loan Officer, Realtors, Escrow/Title, and Clients to Ensure a Smooth Loan Process from the Loan Being in Escrow: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless loan processing, from application to closing.

Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Knowledge: Possess advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Encompass: Familiarity with Encompass, a mortgage loan origination system.
  • 3+ Years of Mortgage Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of mortgage products, processes, and regulations.
  • Organization Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
