About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at North Coast Electric. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on warehouse automation equipment and wire cutting machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including control circuits, photoelectric sensors, and motor starters.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including relays, switches, sensors, and timers.
  • Conduct first-line repairs on Powered Industrial Trucks and other material handling equipment.
  • Maintain and repair overhead dock doors and equipment.
  • Perform first-line facility maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Oversee and facilitate vendor maintenance contracts for CDC equipment.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with equipment users and leaders.
Requirements
  • Proactive communication skills and a high level of organization.
  • Ability to read and interpret operating, maintenance, and safety documents.
  • Previous automation maintenance experience, with training on Dematic MicroShuttle equipment.
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs.).
  • Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists.
  • Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
  • Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, inside/outside noise, vibration, etc.
