Executive Director Opportunity

Eternal Medical Services is seeking a seasoned Hospice RN Executive Director to lead our team in Georgia. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their families.

  • About the Position:
  • As an RN Executive Director, you will be responsible for providing overall strategic direction, leadership, and operational management of hospice services.
  • You will oversee the recruitment, training, and retention of staff, ensuring the highest standards of clinical and administrative performance.
  • Your expertise will drive the development and implementation of individualized care plans for patients and families, ensuring high-quality patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Leadership:
    • Lead a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other healthcare providers.
    • Ensure a collaborative and compassionate work environment that fosters respect and teamwork.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, state, and other regulatory bodies.
    • Maintain all appropriate certifications and licenses, staying informed of changes in healthcare policies and hospice regulations.
  • Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage the hospice budget, ensuring financial sustainability while maintaining high-quality patient care.
    • Monitor revenue cycles, billing practices, and cost control measures to optimize financial performance.
  • Community Engagement:
    • Represent the organization in the local community, building relationships with referral sources, physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Work closely with the Board of Directors to establish and execute long-term strategic goals and objectives for the hospice program.

Requirements:

  • Licensing/Certification:
    • Active RN license in Georgia, unrestricted.
    • Hospice and Palliative Care Certification (CHPN) is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 8 years of clinical experience in hospice or palliative care, with at least 5 years in a Hospice senior leadership or management role.
    • Proven experience in hospice administration, program development, or healthcare management.
  • Compensation and Benefits:
    • A competitive salary range of $110k-$130K, depending on experience.
