Hudson Technologies Inc is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Operational Excellence initiative. As a key member of our Operations leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive continuous improvement program that drives quality, efficiency, and sustainability across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a new operational excellence system that aligns with our company's strategic objectives
  • Lead Lean SQDC roll-out initiatives in assigned facilities, ensuring seamless integration and adoption
  • Design and implement a KPI monitoring process to track and improve operational performance
  • Maintain and improve our ISO 9001-15 certification, ensuring compliance and excellence
  • Coach and challenge plant teams in developing and executing their OpEx strategies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Conduct training, lead workshops, and facilitate networking opportunities to share best practices and drive operational excellence
  • Identify areas for improvement and lead specific projects to drive change and innovation
  • Monitor progress, provide coaching and challenge as needed, and drive operational excellence principles such as constraint management, one-piece flow production, and pull systems

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree and five years of in-depth operational excellence or Lean experience
  • Extensive training in operational excellence/Lean and quality systems
  • Experience working in a TPS or Lean Transformation/Implementation environment
  • Previous experience leading a Lean transformation for factories and their supply chain flows

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High degree of technical aptitude with a demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes, logistics flows, quality processes, and shop floor management
  • Practical experience leading continuous improvement events and teaching and coaching Lean tools
  • Previous experience developing and implementing quality systems
  • Experience with process automation is preferred
  • Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to teach, coach, and persuade
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as strong planning and organization skills with a high attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Results-oriented and able to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Self-reliant and motivated to lead change
