Job Summary

The primary objective of the Construction Manager is to ensure the successful installation of DI equipment, adhering to safety protocols, meeting project deadlines, and staying within budget. This role represents PowerSecure at the project site, overseeing all construction activities, managing subcontractors and internal resources, and interfacing with customers, utilities, and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to company standards and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate and administer daily safety briefs with contractors and company employees.
  • Lead project meetings with customers, utilities, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Understand project financials and create and issue Purchase Orders.
  • Ensure project sites are left in a tidy manner and follow housekeeping standards.
  • Coordinate with parties for timely execution of project schedules.
  • Communicate with Senior Staff to ensure projects are installed safely, timely, and on budget.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma with 4+ years of experience in construction; energy industries preferred.
  • Knowledge of construction management, financials, and construction process.
  • Experience working with General Contractors, subcontractors, customers, Engineers, utilities, and AHJ's.
  • Ability to identify and manage priorities with urgency, while maintaining high quality and customer service.
  • Proficient with computer and proficient with standard office software and construction management software.
  • Proficient with the ability to read and interpret construction documents, product data submittals, and site specifications.
  • Punctual, organized, and professional.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
