Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers to ensure seamless execution of construction projects from start to finish. Coordinate schedules, resources, and subcontractors to meet project milestones and deadlines.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to the project team, including reviewing plans and specifications, identifying potential issues, and proposing solutions to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
  • Document Management: Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, RFIs, change orders, and submittals. Organize and manage project files to ensure easy access and retrieval of information as needed.
  • Communication: Foster clear and effective communication among project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors. Keep all parties informed of project progress, challenges, and resolutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of workmanship and ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Cost Management: Assist in the evaluation of project costs and budget tracking. Collaborate with the project team to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficient resource allocation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Previous experience in commercial construction, preferably in a project engineering or related role.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in construction software and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
