Key Responsibilities- Lead the Hotel Team: Oversee the Assistant Hotel Manager, Housekeeping Manager, and Dining Room Manager to ensure seamless hotel operations.
- Optimize Hotel Departments: Ensure an optimal level of service and hospitality are provided to guests, resolving any issues promptly.
- Improve Daily Performance: Continuously evaluate and improve the daily performance of the shipboard team and hotel department.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with all departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.
- Evaluate and Plan: Evaluate department head goals and develop action plans to achieve them within a set timeframe.
- Coordinate Staff: Coordinate staff to create specific, measurable, achievable, and realistic game plans to provide guests with a memorable cruise experience.
- Perform Bartending Duties: Perform bartending duties as needed with other management personnel.
- Experience: 3+ years of hotel or food and beverage management experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business or hospitality management preferred.
- Willingness to Travel: Willing to live and work aboard the ship.
- Optimism and Drive: Optimism and a hardworking drive to succeed.
- Cruise Industry Experience: Cruise industry experience not required.
- Transportation Credential: Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) required.
- Working Hours: 7 days per week while onboard the ship.
- Onboard Time: 6 to 8 weeks working and living onboard the ship.
- Shore Leave: 1 to 2 weeks shore leave vacation.
- Accommodations and Meals: Accommodations and meals are provided onboard.
- Benefits Package: Benefits package including medical, dental, and matching 401k.
