We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Senior Lifestyle. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents. Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans and medication administration records.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse, as required.
  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, and incontinence care.
  • Document all care provided in the resident's medical record, including any changes or concerns.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and address any resident concerns or issues.
  • Participate in staff training and education programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Certified Medication Aide certification or equivalent experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
  • 1+ months of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a senior living community.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
