Role Summary:
The Customer Service Lead plays a pivotal role in maintaining the Earth Fare standards of customer service, ensuring that every shopper enjoys an exceptional experience. This position balances operational responsibilities at the Front End with direct customer engagement, ensuring a secure and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and uphold the Earth Fare vision and customer service principles while ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist in the management of cash register operations, including reconciliation and reporting, while addressing any discrepancies promptly.
- Provide guidance and training to cashiers on operational procedures and policies, fostering a knowledgeable team.
- Oversee the Front End merchandising to align with Earth Fare marketing strategies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department, ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to supporting both customers and team members.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while assisting customers.
- Proficient in math and cash handling, with a focus on accuracy.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
