Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team for our Electric Grid products. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our existing software and services by identifying, creating, and managing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell our existing software and services by identifying, creating, and managing opportunities
  • Manage the entire sales process in accordance with company systems and policies
  • Assist with executing short and long-range sales and marketing plans
  • Use the CRM tool (Salesforce) to manage and record all stages of the sales cycle
  • Consistently build and deliver an accurate opportunity pipeline
  • Lead or participate in contract negotiations if applicable
  • Meet or exceed the sales target for our offerings and identify short-term as well as long-term business opportunities
  • Engage with the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams sharing knowledge and ideas
  • Creatively use existing network, industry groups, and social media to profile and prospect for new customers
  • Embrace the Challenger Sales or related sales approach as a trusted advisor to the customer
  • Gather information to paint a clear picture of the client's business issues and challenges
  • Develop and grow relationships within the sales team to share customer intelligence and opportunities
  • Participate in global sales team gatherings and sales initiatives

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of sales/BD/account management experience, preferably in the electric utility sector
  • Ability to negotiate and close business in a complex selling environment
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills used externally and internally
  • Interpersonal skills to maintain long term mutually beneficial relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Willingness to travel within the region and limited internationally
  • Proven ability to develop a sales funnel in new market segments
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a utility or within the utility/energy space
  • Specific experience with DNV's Digital Solutions Software
  • Ability to demonstrate the EGRP Product Line suite of products
  • Experience selling Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Demonstrated success selling Enterprise Software Solutions at the senior level
