Position: Material Blending Specialist
Location: Mooresville, IN
Shift: Rotating | 5pm - 5am | Compensation: $20 - $23 per hour
- Temporary position with potential for permanent hire
- Load chemical reactors with materials at various stages of the blending process.
- Continuously monitor the blending process to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
- Oversee control panels to maintain process temperatures within specified limits.
- Conduct sampling and testing of hot resin to verify product specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, free from hazards.
- Transport materials to designated staging areas as required.
- Follow safety protocols for material handling in a manufacturing environment.
- Meet production deadlines consistently.
- Report any operational issues to the Team Lead or Supervisor promptly.
- Complete daily assigned tasks efficiently.
- Provide assistance in other departments as needed; cross-training opportunities available.
- High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Experience in blending or mixing processes is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Basic math skills are essential.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing, plant, foundry, or construction environment.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided on-site.
- Steel-toed footwear is not a requirement.
