Role Overview:
The Controls Solutions Leader is tasked with enhancing control capabilities throughout the Western Region. This role involves leading support teams and collaborating with various stakeholders to fulfill and surpass the expectations of District Service offices.
A Typical Day:
Business Development: Actively engage with the Division to understand control requirements and propose additional resources to sustain rapid growth. Maintain open communication regarding available resources and progress with District Service offices, offering support to navigate growth challenges.
Project Development: Deliver direct support for Control Project Development and Service Sales to sales teams as required. Prepare cost estimates and pricing proposals for new projects, ensuring alignment with project management and operations teams to guarantee customer satisfaction. Mentor and guide Controls Project Developers to achieve Daikin and industry standards.
Engineering: Lead engineering teams in crafting products and solutions that address the current and future demands of District Service offices. Foster regular communication with peers across divisions to ensure consistent deliverables for clients. Mentor engineering team members to meet or exceed established standards.
Vendor Partnerships: Collaborate with vendor partners to secure optimal products and competitive pricing for District offices. Identify and negotiate with additional vendors to fulfill the product and training requirements of Engineering and District Service offices.
Training and Development: Identify and share internal and external professional development opportunities for all Controls team members. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by motivating individuals to pursue professional development training whenever possible.

Compensation:
The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $165,000 in various states and from $140,000 to $180,000 in Washington. The displayed range represents the pay scale for all roles within this job grade. Individual base pay will be influenced by various factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or 10+ years of relevant experience
- 5 years of experience with BMS/Niagara
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems
- Familiarity with building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel as necessary to support District and MOR Service offices
