Job Title: Television Broadcast Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team at WHDH-TV. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our broadcast equipment to ensure seamless transmission of high-quality video content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repair of analogue and digital broadcast equipment, including non-linear editing systems, cameras, and video file servers.
  • Ensuring network integration and system connectivity.
  • Operating Windows/Mac/Unix/Linux based operating systems and LAN/WAN platforms.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of maintenance experience in television broadcast preferred.
  • SBE certification and FCC license preferred.

Benefits and Salary

This is a part-time position requiring 100% work commitment in our Boston office. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, with an estimated salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
