Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Dispensing Nurse to join our team at Health Care Resource Centers. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in our outpatient clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Supervisor and Program/Medical Director to ensure adequate nursing coverage and compliance with Federal and state regulations.
  • Delegate tasks to certified nursing assistants, medication technicians, or unlicensed personnel, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with the Nursing Supervisor regarding potential issues and participate in Treatment Teams, Panel Review, Department Head, and General Staff meetings.
  • Manage nursing team schedules, conduct performance improvement activities, and prepare monthly reports.
  • Review and resolve client clinical complaints, intervening in crisis situations as needed.
Requirements
  • Licensed in MA as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Prior experience in substance abuse, mental health treatment, or addiction medicine is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies.
  • Fundamental knowledge of professional nursing principles, techniques, basic addiction medicine science, and community health and welfare resources.
  • Computer proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Suite.
  • Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
