Key Responsibilities:- Ensure timely and accurate implementation of physician medication orders, including delivery to outside facilities.
- Oversee medical services to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Delegate tasks to certified nursing assistants, medication technicians, or unlicensed personnel as needed.
- Collaborate with the Nursing Supervisor to address potential issues and ensure seamless operations.
- Participate in treatment teams, panel reviews, department head meetings, and general staff meetings to drive quality care and patient outcomes.
- Manage nursing team schedules, conduct performance improvement activities, and prepare monthly reports to inform decision-making.
- Respond to client clinical complaints, intervene in crisis situations, and perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Licensed in MA as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with 3-5 years of experience.
- Prior experience in substance abuse, mental health treatment, or addiction medicine is preferred.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA, federal, state, and CARF standards and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies.
- Fundamental knowledge of professional nursing principles, techniques, basic addiction medicine science, and community health and welfare resources.
- Ability to carry out written and oral instructions, exercise judgment in nursing care, and work cooperatively with others.
- Computer proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Suite.
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
