Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at UPMC. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to address physical therapy needs.
  • Administer physical therapy treatments and modalities, including exercises, stretches, and manual therapy techniques.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in staff meetings and in-service education programs to stay current on best practices and industry developments.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
  • Active license to practice physical therapy in the state of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
