Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified After-School Leader to join our team at Loudoun County Government. The successful candidate will assist in the planning and implementation of recreational activities for children in our After-School program.

Responsibilities
  • Lead recreational programs for children, following curriculum plans and safety compliance standards.
  • Facilitate activities, group games, and reading time, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for children.
  • Provide daily health checks, handle food service items, and respond to emergency procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality programs and services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; six (6) months of program experience with children.
  • Ability to work at multiple programming sites, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with youth.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One-year programmatic experience, including previous supervisory experience.
  • Skilled in using technology, including iPads, phones, and laptops.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.
