Key Responsibilities:

  • Standard Fabrication – Operate machinery to tailor fabric belts according to client specifications (measuring, cutting, pressing).
  • Special Fabrication – Use machinery to modify fabric belts (perforations, v-guides, flex cutting) to meet customer needs.
  • Automated Fabrication – Employ various automated machines to adapt fabric belts as per client requirements.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement (A3's). Collaborate with support teams to establish and meet targeted objectives and timelines.
  • Oversee the Lean Daily Management Initiative (LDMI), including daily metric tracking, team reviews, presentations to management, and initiating corrective measures.

Essential Qualifications:

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual inspections of products before and after completing assigned tasks.
  • Measure workpiece dimensions to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Initial work orders upon task completion as a confirmation of proper execution.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including lubrication.
  • Engage in various production tasks, such as loading machinery and adjusting settings.
  • Manage material handling and ensure cleanliness of work areas.
  • Operate machinery and equipment efficiently.
  • Interpret job specifications to determine necessary adjustments and materials.
  • Set machine stops or guides as required.
  • Monitor machine operations to identify defects or malfunctions.
