We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in our Observation Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and direct the activities of the Observation Unit, ensuring seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate and improve nursing care, implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, analyzing data and implementing changes to improve patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's or Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- At least one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, preferably in an Observation Unit.
- Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association.
