At Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist RN to join our team. As a Clinical Specialist RN, you will be responsible for providing expert care to our patients and families, while also serving as a clinical resource and mentor to our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert care to patients and families, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing intervention plans, and evaluating response.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff, providing coaching and guidance on clinical and professional practice.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community services to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Improve nurse satisfaction by facilitating teamwork and driving improvement of department scores for employee engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
- Five years of nursing experience, with two years in specialty.
- Current RN licensure in Texas or Compact State licensure within 60 days.
- BLS certification (AHA).
