Job Summary

Cyber Resource is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Windows desktop users in an enterprise environment.

This is a full-time, onsite position requiring 5 days of work per week. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and communicating solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding and offboarding employees
  • Supporting and maintaining user account information changes
  • Managing and monitoring customer IT issues using helpdesk tools
  • Providing support over the phone, in person, and using remote control tools
  • Acting as a liaison to ensure the delivery of high-performance IT support services
  • Working directly with customers to assist in managing and fixing software and application issues
  • Providing recommendations to management for the improvement of systems and processes
  • Performing software installations manually and via automated deployment tools and command line scripting
  • Creating documentation of work processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills with a customer-first attitude
  • Extensive skills and experience in desktop products, including Windows 11, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Microsoft Office 365
  • Ability to utilize troubleshooting tools and skills in managing and administering desktops, laptops, tablets, and phones
  • Excellent research and investigative skills
  • Knowledge and experience in Active Directory, Group Policy, remote support tools, basic networking, and software packaging and deployment
  • Experience in working with help request tracking and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of IT concepts and trends and new technologies
