Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal counsel and support on a broad range of corporate matters with a focus on M&A activities for private companies.
  • Manage and oversee the execution of all aspects of M&A, including due diligence, negotiation, and closing of deals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide them with exceptional general corporate representation.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various corporate documents and transactions.
  • Engage in a client-facing role, offering advice and solutions directly to our diverse client base.
Qualifications:
  • Prefer candidates licensed in Virginia but can consider MD and DC with eligibility to waive into VA at some point following hire.
  • 2-5 years of experience in corporate law, ideally with significant exposure to M&A for private companies. Candidates with up to 7/8 years of experience will be considered.
  • Strong document drafting and negotiation skills.
  • A self-starter who is comfortable working independently but will benefit from our supportive and collaborative environment.
