About the Role
As a Patient Care Assistant on our Mother and Baby Unit Nights team at UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hospital North in Colorado Springs, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care under the delegation and/or supervision of a nurse or healthcare provider.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about prioritizing wellness and patient perspectives, and who models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth. You will effectively partner with specialized ancillary team members, welcome new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment, and contribute to solutions to secure safety and quality at the point of care.

Responsibilities
  • Direct care includes gathering vital signs, measuring blood glucose, and measuring intake and output.
  • Assist patients with personal care, activities of daily living, and progressive mobility.
  • Keep care areas stocked, cleaned, and orderly.
