Human Resources Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a seasoned Human Resources professional to lead our HR team. This role will involve collaborating closely with Directors of Operations across multiple locations to manage a wide range of HR functions. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling HR operations, compliance, and benefits administration while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and accuracy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage background checks, process new hires, and handle termination data entry using ADP.
  • Coordinate FMLA, leave of absences, and disability claims.
  • Ensure the accuracy and up-to-date status of HR files, documentation, and perform regular audits.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of all HR records.
  • Maintain compliance with legal requirements for personnel files and HR documentation.
  • Oversee HRIS records, generate reports, and conduct annual I-9 audits.
  • Lead the open enrollment process and manage employee benefits enrollments.
  • Conduct audits for insurance enrollment and verify compliance with the Affordable Care Act.
  • Reconcile benefits invoices and perform monthly COBRA administration audits.
  • Process payroll biweekly and semimonthly using ADP, including auditing hourly payroll data.
  • Provide general HR support and occasionally travel to various locations for HR assistance.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; further education in HR or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive HR experience, including payroll processing and HRIS management.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and trends.
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS systems.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with strong project management skills and minimal supervision.
