Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth, innovation, and excellence in healthcare delivery, education, and research.
  • Lead the integration of the University of Toledo Medical Center, University of Toledo Physicians, and University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences to achieve operational efficiency and improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices that promote a culture of excellence, safety, and quality in healthcare.
  • Develop and manage budgets, resource allocation, and performance metrics to ensure the financial sustainability and growth of the health enterprise.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including faculty, staff, patients, and community partners, to promote the university's mission and values.
Requirements
  • At least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in a complex, multi-facility organization with a significant commitment to clinical excellence, teaching, and/or research.
  • Proven track record of driving strategic growth, innovation, and excellence in healthcare delivery, education, and research.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • MD/DO degree preferred, but non-physician executives with exceptional experience will also be considered.
