  • The Cloud Connectivity Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the design and implementation of network architecture changes, necessitating extensive expertise in network routing and switching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the project related to bandwidth enhancements.
  • Conducting comprehensive network assessments and designs utilizing Arista and Cisco technologies to ensure minimal service interruptions during network upgrades.
  • Establishing a governance framework for project oversight.
  • Creating and evaluating configuration templates for routers and switches deployed within the Arista and Cisco environments.
  • Identifying potential risks and escalating them to the relevant teams while ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Executing tests related to SNMP, syslog, NTP, and NetFlow.
  • Forecasting critical project timelines and establishing baseline dates for project plans.
  • Coordinating after-hours modifications with various stakeholders, securing necessary approvals, and addressing inquiries from project teams.
  • Providing regular updates to executive management and project stakeholders.
  • Developing and managing communication strategies for the project.
  • Coordinating team efforts and internal resources essential for successful network and bandwidth enhancements.
  • Implementing best practices for network configurations in alignment with established standards.

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of experience in networking.
  • Practical experience with BGP, MPLS, and OSPF routing protocols in extensive environments.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista network installations in multi-tier configurations connected via dark fiber.
  • Experience in deploying Cisco Catalyst/Nexus Switches and NCS routers, with a comprehensive understanding of their components and functionalities.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years in networking.
  • Hands-on experience with BGP, MPLS, and OSPF routing protocols in large-scale environments.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Familiarity with MPLS, EIGRP, OSPF, iBGP, eBGP, and IS-IS routing protocols.
  • Experience configuring CORE/PE and CPE routers/switches in medium to large organizations or carriers.
  • In-depth understanding of enterprise quality of service solutions, including queuing for Catalyst, Nexus, and NCS products.
  • Experience deploying management protocols such as SNMPv3, Syslog, and NetFlow.
  • Knowledge of optical technology principles and testing, including fiber types, terminations, power transmission, bandwidth, and loss.
  • Valid/current CCNP certification.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with a keen attention to detail.
  • Highly self-motivated with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality.
  • Effective problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Reviewing project designs and system documentation.
  • Designing network architectures using MS Visio.
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure environments and processes.
