Position Overview

Norman's Gift Shops, Inc., a leading employee-owned Hallmark Gold Crown retailer, is currently seeking a dedicated Part-Time Sales Consultant. We pride ourselves on assisting individuals in expressing their emotions and sharing meaningful moments with others.

Our Sales Consultants play a crucial role in fostering a 'caring team' environment. They are the most accessible resource for customers and possess extensive knowledge of our products.

We expect our Sales Consultants to demonstrate initiative, collaborate effectively with team members, and uphold excellence in every interaction with customers.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Integrate our Customer CARE philosophy into the store culture, driving retail sales through genuine customer connections and relationship building.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction as the cornerstone of our business.
  • Consistently meet enrollment targets for our Crown Rewards program.
  • Efficiently operate our register system to ensure a seamless point-of-sale experience, maintaining accuracy in cash handling and basic math skills.
  • Employ outstanding selling techniques during customer interactions to enhance sales and satisfaction.
  • Proactively acquire product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
  • Maintain and replenish displays as directed by management.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that accommodates business needs, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong proficiency in basic math functions, including percentages and general arithmetic.
  • Physical capability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally bend, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds.
