Job Title:

Director of Events and Trade Shows

Job Summary:

The Director of Events and Trade Shows is a key member of the Medical Affairs team responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events and trade shows to showcase Kerecis products, build brand awareness, and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive event and trade show strategy aligned with the Company's goals and target audience in collaboration with Marketing and Commercial leadership
  • Manage the Events and Trade Show team in the planning, coordination, and execution of all aspects of events and trade shows, including logistics, budgets, and post-event analysis
  • Identify and secure suitable venues, vendors, and suppliers for events, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience for all attendees
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Product Development, to ensure alignment and maximize event and trade show impact
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of event staff, ensuring strong teamwork for high performance
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to recommend innovative event concepts and strategies
  • Analyze event data and insights to measure success of events and trade shows and identify areas for improvement
  • Travel to events and trade shows as required
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in planning and executing successful events and trade shows in the medical device or healthcare industry
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a highly collaborative and functional team
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work as a team leader and also independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field from an accredited university; master's degree a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
  • Anticipated travel: 40%
