Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in tax preparation or review within a public accounting or professional services environment is essential.
  • Proficient in reviewing Federal/State Income Corporate/Individual Tax Returns, including multi-state filings.
  • Experience in tax research for both corporate and individual clients.
  • Strong project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and engage with professionals at all levels.
  • Exceptional client service orientation.
  • Capacity to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Integrity, reliability, and trustworthiness are paramount.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and document procedures performed.
  • Experience supervising senior staff and managing multiple client engagements and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated leadership, training, and mentoring capabilities.
  • Strong proficiency in general office software and adaptability to new software applications.
  • Foreign language proficiency (especially German) is advantageous.
Education and Licenses
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; a Master's in accounting is preferred.
  • Active CPA license in good standing is required.
Working Conditions

Willingness to work moderate overtime throughout the year, with increased hours required during peak business cycles.
