Qualifications

Experience:

  • 5-8 years of experience in tax preparation or review within a public accounting or professional services environment.
  • Proficient in reviewing Federal/State Income Corporate/Individual Tax Returns, including multi-state returns.
  • Experience in tax research for both corporate and individual clients.

Skills:

  • Exceptional project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and engage with professionals at all levels.
  • Strong client service orientation.
  • Capacity to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Integrity, reliability, and trustworthiness.
  • Aptitude for clear communication and documentation of procedures performed.
  • Ability to supervise other senior staff while managing multiple client engagements and competing priorities.
  • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring capabilities.
  • Proficient computer skills with general office software and adaptability to new applications.
  • Foreign language proficiency (especially German) is a plus.

Education and Licenses:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; a Master's in accounting is preferred.
  • CPA license in good standing is mandatory.
Working Conditions

Willingness to work moderate overtime throughout the year, with increased hours required during peak business cycles.
