Position Overview

The Patient Access Associate plays a crucial role in the healthcare system by managing the registration processes for incoming patients and occasionally handling pre-registration for relevant outpatient services. This position involves the establishment and maintenance of patient medical records through the collection of essential demographic, clinical, and financial data, which is then accurately entered into the Washington Health System's database while ensuring strict confidentiality of all information.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute registration procedures for incoming patients and manage pre-registration for outpatient cases, ensuring the establishment and maintenance of accurate patient medical records.
  2. Exhibit proficiency in the core competencies and responsibilities associated with the Patient Access Associate role.
  3. Complete all tasks in accordance with the established protocols and responsibilities of the Patient Access Associate position.

Work Schedule: Rotating shifts including days, weekends, and holidays. Primarily from 2 PM to 12 AM, with potential rotation through additional shifts such as 6 AM to 4 PM, 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, 7 AM to 5 PM, 11 AM to 9 PM, and 2 PM to 12 AM.

Weekly Hours: 16-32 hours
