Surgical Technologist III

The Surgical Technologist III is a key member of the surgical team, responsible for providing assistance during surgical procedures. This role requires a high level of skill and knowledge in aseptic technique, instrumentation, and equipment management.
Responsibilities- Assist in the cleaning and preparation of the operating room suite according to hospital standards and policies.
- Participate in the care and cleaning of OR equipment.
- Set up required equipment and sterile supplies for surgical procedures.
- Support the surgeon by providing instrumentation appropriate for the task.
- Break down cases at the end of the procedure.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Registration as a Surgical Tech by Colorado Division of Registration (DORA).
- Current CST Certification from NBSTSA preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited program for Operating Room Technicians.
- One (1) year minimum experience.
