Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist III will provide assistance during surgical procedures performed in the department, demonstrating knowledge and skills necessary for aseptic technique, equipment setup, and supply management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures
  • Set up and maintain aseptic environments, including equipment and supplies
  • Pull and break down cases as needed
  • Perform delegated duties consistent with scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery
Requirements
  • Current AHA or ARC BLS Certification
  • State of Colorado Surgical Registry required (DORA)
  • Current CST Certification from NBSTSA preferred
  • Graduation from an accredited program for Operating Room Technicians required
  • 3 or more years of experience as a Surgery Technician preferred
