  • Plan, assign, and modify work priorities to fulfill daily, weekly, and monthly customer sales order demands.
  • Monitor and evaluate employee performance in areas such as attendance, quality, and productivity.
  • Ensure that all Quality team members receive appropriate training and cross-training as necessary.
  • Prepare reports and deliver presentations as needed.
  • Conduct and participate in meetings as required, including hosting biweekly Quality Metrics meetings.
  • Perform audits to ensure ongoing compliance with all established processes and procedures.
  • Encourage and actively participate in continuous improvement activities, including Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Manage the Quality Incident Report (QIR), Material Review Board (MRB), and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) processes.
  • Maintain the quality manual, including the initiation, review, and revision of Operational Instructions (OIs) and Company Standard Operating Procedures (CSOPs).
  • Coordinate with relevant functions to ensure smooth transitions to sustained production activities.

Safety Compliance: Ensure that all tasks are executed in accordance with applicable Federal, State, Provincial, and Company safety and health regulations, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment where necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of progressive experience in the Quality Assurance domain.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience leading continuous improvement initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Experience supervising a team of 10 or more employees.
  • Proficiency in improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean; Black Belt certification is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to effectively manage a dynamic team.
  • Strong understanding of Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action with proven results.
  • Familiarity with the latest revisions of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
  • Working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position oversees 10 or more direct reports.

Travel Requirement: 5-10% travel may be required.
