About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at DispatchHealth Imaging. As a mobile ultrasound technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams for patients in various service locations, including private residences, skilled nursing homes, and correctional facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to service locations to perform ultrasound exams using company-provided equipment
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Demonstrate safe work practices, including safe driving, infection control, and use of personal protective equipment
  • Perform sonographic examinations as ordered by physicians and prepare preliminary worksheets for radiologists
  • Complete all necessary forms and maintain accurate records of work performed
  • Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment
  • Orient new staff and train students as needed
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Sonography
  • Credentialed in medical sonography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
