Job Opportunity: Assistant Construction Manager

CMTS LLC is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Construction Manager to join our team in Portland, OR.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage large-scale construction projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with project owners, superintendents, and engineers to achieve project goals.
  • Verify compliance with contractual requirements, project specifications, and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement effective change order processes, ensuring timely submittals and negotiations.
  • Manage submittal and RFI processes, including logs and QA/QC procedures.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of construction management experience, with a focus on mega public infrastructure projects.
  • Proven ability to manage large projects ($1B+) and hit the ground running.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including MS Project, and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Strong prioritization, organizational, and communication skills.
