Job Summary

As a Laundry Operations Supervisor at The GEO Group, you will oversee the daily operations of the facility laundry area, ensuring the efficient and safe processing of laundry for detainees. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the pick-up, sorting, and distribution of laundry to detainees.
  • Train and supervise detainees in the laundry area, ensuring they understand and follow safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular maintenance inspections of industrial washers and dryers, and perform repairs as needed.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that the laundry area is well-stocked and equipped to meet the needs of detainees.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Relevant work experience in industrial laundry operations or a related field preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain a safe and secure environment.
