Regional Maintenance Director

The Regional Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the activities of housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance departments to ensure environmental center compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and building codes.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance departments.
- Ensure the center is maintained in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition.
- Strategically identify, target, and pre-qualify prospects for development of operations and maintenance contracts.
- Formulate successful strategies to increase maintenance activity and ensure goals are attained.
- Develop cost proposals and realistic planning for construction projects.
- Coordinate the implementation interface with project management and facility teams.
- Maintain proficient and current computer and software application skills for team members.
- Supervise all Environmental Services personnel and daily work in assigned areas throughout the region.
- Execute the Company's preventive maintenance program and record keeping systems.
- Work with facility teams regarding environmental services requests, infection prevention, and service resolution opportunities.
- Provide 24-hour 'on-call' service to the nursing center in case of emergency.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, department head meetings, and other center meetings.
- High School diploma, required.
- Five years of supervisory experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of maintenance procedures.
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in long-term care preferred.
- HVAC Certification.
