About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a key component of our healthcare team, you will work closely with primary care physicians to deliver exceptional patient care to our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and update health records to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Measure vital signs and prepare treatment rooms for examinations
  • Provide excellent customer service skills by greeting patients and the community in a respectful manner
  • Prepare and review patient charts for upcoming visits, verifying diagnostic test results and medical records
  • Perform departmental-related clerical duties, including inventory management and tracking referrals

Requirements:

  • Active Medical Assisting Certification
  • One year of medical assistant healthcare experience (preferred)
  • Two years of clerical experience in a physician's office (preferred)
  • Problem-solving skills, basic computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
