Medication Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medication Aide to join our team at Lakewood Retirement Community-LifeSpire. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications in accordance with accepted practices and record vital signs, weights, and blood sugars as ordered.
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, oral care, toileting, dressing, and transfers.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care and support for our residents.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Medication Aide and Nurse Aide in good standing issued by the Virginia Board of Nursing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including customer service, patience, empathy, and compassion.
