Structural Design Engineer

The Structures Company, LLC is seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team in Wichita, KS.

We are looking for an experienced engineer who can apply knowledge of engineering and physical science principles, materials, and tools to develop, integrate, document, and evaluate flight vehicle structure designs for performance, functional adequacy, cost effectiveness, manufacturability, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop primary and secondary structure designs for flight vehicles
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design solutions
  • Ensure designs meet performance, functional, and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain design documentation and records
  • Participate in design reviews and evaluations

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in structural design engineering
  • Boeing commercial aircraft experience preferred
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 and ENOVIA
  • Engineering degree required
  • US Person status required
