Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a highly skilled Composite Engineer - Stress & Design to join our Engineering department in Wichita, Kansas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform structural analysis and design efforts for non-metallic parts, collaborating with colleagues to develop solutions that meet requirements.
  • Use multiple applications to develop solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Liaise with Airbus departments to identify and implement process improvements, increasing team efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to new team members, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering (Aero, Civil, or Mechanical) with a strong emphasis on structural design and analysis.
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in airframe design/repair programs, with a focus on composite aircraft structure.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment, interpreting and following verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and Google Suite applications.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
