Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Adhere to the highest standards of company safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations, including all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring an orderly and safe space for production.
  • Quality Control: Conduct physical and visual inspections of products to prevent non-conforming goods and promptly report any quality defects to the appropriate team members.
  • Supply Management: Maintain an adequate level of production supplies and materials to minimize downtime for the next shift.
  • Machine Operation: Continuously monitor machine operation to ensure accurate product measurements and quality are being maintained.
  • Meet Production Targets: Meet or exceed production rates, minimize waste levels, and meet all customer requirements.
  • Downstream Winder Operations: Focus on downstream winder operations, ensuring that product is allocated properly.
  • Support Operator with Data Entry: Occasionally assist the Operator with entering production reporting data into the machine computer accurately.
  • Scrap Separation: Separate scrap by color coding appropriately.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate core cutting machine, vacuum lift, and pallet jack.
  • Knowledge and Skill Acquisition: Acquire knowledge and skills of Machine Operator to better assist and troubleshoot when needed.
  • Meetings and Training: Attend meetings and complete safety trainings as required.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
