Job Title: Sales Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at Ohio Transmission Corporation. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for calling on decision-makers in the marketplace, specifically Industrial, Municipal, Oil & Gas, Power, and Chemical, who are in a position to specify or purchase our products and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Call on decision-makers in the marketplace to promote our products and services.
  • Achieve sales and margin levels that meet or exceed annual goals for all Furey Filter and Pump equipment offerings.
  • Achieve sales and margin levels that meet or exceed annual goals for all PSI Engineering equipment offerings.
  • Spend 75% of time making sales calls in territory developing new buying accounts and building loyalty through 100% customer satisfaction from existing accounts.
  • Coordinate with Regional resources to design and offer customer-centric system solutions across multiple product categories.
  • Maintain disciplined daily/weekly activity goals per the defined OTC standard of consistency and conduct of a Sales Engineer Budget and maintain market share targets in conjunction with regional objectives.
  • Target competitive accounts to grow customer base and penetrate territory.
  • Master technical sales and territory management skills; product knowledge, system design, and a superior understanding and execution of proper prospecting and sales processes.
Qualifications:
  • College degree preferred, Mechanical Engineering degree a plus, alongside a minimum of two years of experience in filter and pump industrial sales, or a comprehensive six years of sales experience in the industrial technology sector.
  • Ability to sell pump equipment, understanding of the mechanics and applications of an industrial pump and pumping systems, self-starter.
  • Proactive prospecting with a dedication to fieldwork.
  • Professional service sales background with a demonstrated record of success.
  • Strategic thinker with a vision for territorial growth.
  • Skilled in presentations and communication across platforms.
