Role Overview:
As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in our Service Team, contributing to our commitment to excellence in customer service and technical support. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting precision overhauls of pumps, valves, agitators, and other rotating machinery at both our facilities and client locations.
  • Installing fluid management systems at industrial and municipal sites.
  • Performing service on wastewater treatment equipment at customer facilities.
  • Installing mechanical seals, couplings, V-belts, bearing seals, relief valves, and other components both in-house and on-site.
  • Troubleshooting fluid management equipment issues and providing repair or replacement recommendations.
  • Assisting clients during the startup of new equipment.
  • Responding to customer inquiries regarding service work, replacement parts, and equipment operation.
  • Maintaining and performing preventive maintenance on service tools and equipment.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in the maintenance and service of fluid management systems (pumps and valves) or mechanical contracting.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt.
  • The ability to travel within the region, including occasional overnight stays.
  • A positive attitude and strong ethical standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse and fast-paced workload.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • The capability to lift various objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
