Ideal candidates will possess substantial experience in field service related to fluid processing equipment or mechanical contracting. Crane Engineering seeks a motivated technician eager to learn and thrive as a vital member of our Service Team.
Your Responsibilities
· Execute precise overhauls of pumps, valves, agitators, and other rotating machinery at both Crane Engineering facilities and client locations.
· Install fluid processing systems at industrial and municipal sites.
· Provide installation and service for wastewater management equipment at customer facilities.
· Install mechanical seals, couplings, V-belts, bearing seals, relief valves, and other components both in-house and on-site.
· Diagnose issues with fluid processing equipment and offer repair or replacement recommendations.
· Support clients during the initiation of new equipment.
· Address customer inquiries regarding service operations, replacement parts, and pump functionality.
· Maintain and conduct preventative maintenance on service tools and equipment.
Qualifications
· High School diploma or equivalent is required.
· Experience in the maintenance and servicing of fluid processing systems (pumps and valves) or mechanical contracting is essential.
· A strong willingness to learn.
· Ability to travel throughout Minnesota and neighboring states, including occasional overnight stays.
· A positive attitude, forward-thinking mindset, and high ethical standards.
· Capacity to manage a diverse and fast-paced workload to meet client demands.
· Well-organized and self-motivated team player.
· A valid driver's license is required.
· Ability to lift various objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
